Responsibilities for Supplier Quality Engineer ? Manage supplier qualification process, including review and assessment of suppliers’ qualification documents and manufacturing & Testing procedures, perform on-site audits — assessing suppliers’ capabilities and capacity. ? Develop, implement, monitor, and maintain meaningful metrics of KPI to demonstrate the effectiveness of the supplier’s quality processes ? Organize pre-inspection meeting with suppliers to address the inspection requirements for pre- and during manufacturing process. ? Coordinate with suppliers to arrange inspections per the manufacturing inspection and testing plans, review the inspection records and reports. ? Participate and lead Supplier Audits and Surveys to assess supplier conformance to the industry Quality Assurance requirements ? Lead to resolve the quality issues found from the suppliers to get it fixed in a timely manner and make proposal for prevention. ? Improve new supplier introduction, qualification, technical evaluations, and approval processes ? Monitor and verify the effectiveness and adequacy of preventative actions made by suppliers and advise opportunity for improvement. ? Organize meeting with customer for the quality related matters of supplied products ? Other Global Supplier Quality Engineering resources and services. Qualifications for Supplier Quality Engineer ? Fluent in listening, writing and spoken English. ? Bachelor’s degree and above in technical, engineering and procurement ? ISO 9001: 2015 qualified lead auditor. ? Product or manufacturing engineering and/or Quality Engineer, Min. 5 years. ? Practical knowledge on Quality, Product, and Process within the onshore and offshore industries. ? Good in verbal and written communication ? Great technical knowledge in Steel Manufacturing and Logistic ? Capable to perform professional quality audits and reports
