Job Responsibility: 1.Lead new fitting product (especially for specialized and complex products) development activities for the division, facilitating activities including Project Planning, specification generation, maintaining excellent communications among departments, product validation through testing, market release logistics planning, and bringing closure to project. 2.Provide engineering output with accuracy, correctness and meet to the division standard. Outputs include engineering change requests, product configuration changes, specifications, and technical reports. 3.Develop conceptual design and models alternatives, contributes to the completion milestones associated with specific projects (e.g. create functional diagrams and system layouts; review detailed drawings and schematics; define data structure, interfaces and programming logic; analyze material requirements; research customer data item requirements). 4.Scientific analysis and predictive modeling to measure design outcomes, provides technical information for review with product engineering teams using established engineering practices, standards, and documentation methods (e.g. customer design reviews etc.). 5.Write supporting documentation for procedures and technical reports (controlled documents, drawings, assembly processes). Write technical responses or proposals for customers. 6.Engineering and cross functional interaction within business unit, interface with customers, salesmen, material suppliers and other divisional, group and corporate personnel to resolve technical matters dealing with fitting, impact of decisions is on the project and customer. 7.Initiation and continuous improvement of good engineering design, practices and procedures. This includes implementing redesign to improve manufacturing and to eliminate potential field problems. 8.Maintains and further develops professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, and/or participating in professional associations. 9.Submit cost reductions/avoidance suggestions. 10.Coach less experienced product development engineer and help them resolves problems.
Qualifications: 1.BS degree in mechanical manufacture or mechanical design. Master degree is preferable; 2.Minimum 6+ years R&D working experience with mechanical design and materials, and be familiar with the lab testing methods and equipment; 3.Proficient with design and specialized engineering tools, efficiently utilize MS Office software; Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks etc. 4.Familiar with CNC program is preferable. 5.Familiar with heat treatment is preferable. 6.Familiar with product development procedure, APQP/PPAP; Independent product development experience from concept design to product launch to market. 7.Experience in foreign manufacturing company is preferred. 8.Good English both in writing and speaking.
