Responsibilities 1. To lead and coach the project team, work with operations team and marketing team to ensure the quality of the events. To manage and direct the project team in implementing the marketing plans and budgets for the assigned exhibition. To drive growth and deliver business with high quality. To achieve 100% of the assigned financial targets
2. Ability to coordinate a cross-functional, cross-country and potentially partner driven team approach in a complex sales cycle to compile project strategy paper and sales action plan.
3. To manage key accounts, develop rapport and maintain high retention rate at the assigned events.
4. Manages multiple decision makers to move deal to closure. Maintain high awareness of industry trends, climate, players, distribution and issues. To identify new business potential, develop business plan that materialize these new business potential.
5. To develop and roll out relevant exhibition products and services at market. Identifies next steps and how to string together near-term successes that can be the foundation for future engagements and an expanded business.
6. To develop and maintain good working relationships with business partners, including trade associations, trade boards and relevant supporting media, suppliers etc.
Qualification: - Bachelor’s Degree in Exhibition management, Business, Marketing or related field. A minimum of 10 years of messe industry experience, minimum 3 years project and people management experience with proven track record.
- Creative and strategically thinking. Competitive drive and determination and customer focused & strong interpersonal skills with good Commercial sense. Adapt to traveling on business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent Spoken and Written English with CET-6 standard. - Well- organized, good compression resistance and self-motivated. Possesses effective Time Management Skills and strong Personal Networking skills, business acumen, strong problem solving skills and a high degree of creativity/resourcefulness. - Ability to quickly build trust and rapport, and develop influential relationships at all levels of an organization
