Title : Marine Service Engineer ‐ Radio & Navigational Equipment Requirements of the Marine Service Engineer role are as follow: Will read and interpret schematics and tech drawings & making reports in the field to reflect work that is carried out on site Must have familiarity with Marine working environments on deep sea going ships Willing to accept after office hours when necessary Will independently test, repair, install and inspect below list of equipment : . Marine GDMSS radio system . Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) . Gyrocompass overhaul . Autopilot system . VSAT ship terminal . ECDIS system . Radar System . Speed log equipment . Echosounder equipment . Transmitting Magnetic Compass sytem (TMC) Willing to accept continuous training & to pick up updated equipment models & technologies Requirement : Must have 2 or more years' experience in Marine Radio & Navigational Equipment Service work Ex‐Navy Radio or Electronics technicians or engineers are welcome Qualifiction & Education requirement : Degree or Diploma on Radio & Telecommunications Classification Approved surveyor for GMDSS radio survey & VDR APT (please list name of Classifications), if any VDR training certificates from any VDR manufacturers (please list name of makers), if any General Operator Certificate (GOC), is preferrable Relevant Training certificates from Marine Radio & Navigational Equipment makers, if any Salary range depends on experience & qualification
