Main tasks: 1. Business Expansion ? National development of the global key accounts in line with regional and global strategies to support the ASL Key Account Management. ? Development of sufficient portfolio of large local accounts (own customer portfolio). ? Identifies, analyzes and explores business opportunities. ? Secures the profitability of assigned accounts in accordance with the country organization.
2. Customer Care ? Develops and maintains a good relationship with customers to ensure customer satisfaction. ? Ensures that customer services and all operational levels have been appropriately established and the SOP is followed, in order to meet customer expectations. ? Ensures compliance of agreed KPIs. ? Conducts quarterly business reviews with operation and the client, if not requested differently from client (monthly, half-yearly, etc.).
3. Coordination of Implementation ? Sets up local SOP’s in alignment with Business Implementation Management. ? Coordinates and sets up Track and Trace or EDI if requested by customer. ? Coordinates the filing of rates and credit limit in Othello for national key accounts. ? Verifies customer‘s master data and updates.
4. Account development plan (one-pager) ? Maintains the account development plan (prepared within four weeks when taking over/delegating an account).
5. Account Receivable ? Ensure collection of accounts receivable by Finance team and assist if necessary; ? Ad-hoc tasks will be assigned by Department Head.
Job requirement: ? Bachelor degree or higher (B.A. Marketing, Industrial, Logistics or any related field) or equivalent qualification / experience ? Account Management Experience in freight forwarding/logistics field (minimum 5 years of sales experience in a freight forwarder or minimum 2 years of key account management experience) ? Deep knowledge of air and sea freight ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ? Excellent communication and presentation skills ? Very good spoken and written English and local language ? Excellent negotiation skills ? Talent in selling a service ? Basic skills in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
