The role of a Commodity Buyer is to structure the building of a supplier panel for one or more commodities and ensure the overall productivity of the panel. The main missions of the role are to:
- Structure the building of the Metal & Mechatronic panel: participate in the definition and the implementation of the purchasing panel policy for assigned commodities, manage supplier selection according to Group criteria
- Panel management: ensure a regular follow-up of the supplier performance in relation with the Supplier Quality Assurance Manager and implement a suppliers' reduction plan consistent with Divisions and in coordination with the Business Groups
- Manage the global suppliers' productivity in relation with plant buyers
- Develop and implement tools to improve global productivity
- Negotiate and implement general agreements with the main suppliers
- Ensure the utilization of the panel by program and plant buyers
- Ensure the reporting of his or her activities following defined policies

The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Master's degree in engineering with a specialization in international purchasing
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Commodity Buyer in an industrial environment
- Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization
- International mind set, overseas experience a plus
- Bi/multi-lingual （English required）
