CENTRIMEX, a global and historic company founded in France in 1948 and is a major player in the freight forwarding industry connecting Africa, Europe, and Asia with 23 offices worldwide, including 13 offices located on the African continent. We are seeking a motivated and driven Sales Assistant to support our sales team in generating leads, prospecting new clients, assisting with sales appointments and business trip organization, maintaining CRM records, and providing sales material translation. The primary focus of this role is to contribute to the overall sales efforts and assist the Head of Commercial with weekly and monthly reports. We value a good character, attitude, and reliability, anything else can be trained. Step-by-step we will provide training in freight forwarding and supply chain operations to the successful candidate.
RESPONSABILITIES : He/she will conduct the following tasks, including but not limited to:
Sales Prospecting: Identify potential clients and generate leads through market research, online platforms, fairs attending and cold calling techniques.
Appointment and Business Trip Organization: Assist the sales team in scheduling appointments with clients and organizing business trips (with the admin dept) and sometimes join the sales team.
Database & CRM Entry: Add of leads/account in the system, maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Marketing-Communication: Creation of marketing content and sales material, as well providin translation (EN to CN) for sales-related documents.
Report Preparation: Support the Head of Commercial in preparing weekly and monthly reports by collecting, analyzing, and organizing sales data.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to provide support in achieving sales targets and fostering strong client relationships.
Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to gain knowledge of freight forwarding and supply chain operations, enhancing overall understanding of the industry.
Professional Growth: Take initiative to learn and develop sales skills and knowledge to contribute effectively to the sales team.
REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, ideally specialized in business, economics, logistics and/or supply chain management, but not vital.
Language Skills: Native Chinese with Fluency in English (written and spoken). As English will be used on daily basis, you need to have very good command the language. French or additional languages will be a big plus.
Sales Profile: Strong interest in sales with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Character and Attitude: Demonstrated reliability, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn. Technical Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously as well to go on business trip.
Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Internship Duration: Last-year internship with a minimum commitment of six months.
