Job Description ? Merchandising Manager is responsible and accountable for monitoring the entire merchandising pipeline from development, costing, order placement and production follow up. ? Oversee the team’s merchandising activities toward the accomplishment of objectives. ? Source and identify qualified vendors, liaise closely with suppliers and conduct business development strategically. ? Negotiate and work out the best pricing point with appropriated suppliers. Responsibilities ? Manage team, Costing and Production with certain Developments. ? Facilitates business with riskless quality, competitive costing and practical bulk production. ? Drive costing with analytics and comparison, achieve company’s expectations. ? Plan production and monitor production team by utilizing TNA to ensure on time delivery with quality product. ? Manage vendor loading and capacity. Assess supplier performance to assist in current production and better plan for future, a risk preventor. ? Manage vendor relationships and new vendor on-boarding, identify and build a healthy matrix. ? Facilitate major issue settlement between the office, suppliers and headquarter. ? Act with charismatic leadership in coordination with teams. Train, Teach, Coach. ? Execute continuous improvement in process. ? Play a key role in the company by developing trustful relationship, establishing mutual respect with counterparts. Learning by sharing with and supporting overseas branch offices/ Qualifications/Requirements ? Merchandising knowledge – experience leading and planning in sample development, costing strategy production monitor, has MNC working experiences is a benefit. ? Planning and Execution – experience in planning, prioritize and adapt to change while maintaining results for multiple projects. ? Results Driven Problem Solver – views problem from multiple angles and provides viable, innovative options for resolution. ? Talent Builder – experience in leading teams and developing talent. ? Excellent Communicator – proven capability communicating and effectively adapting to the audience needs. ? University Graduate/Higher Diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or relevant disciplines. ? At least 15 years relevant garment/textile experiences ? Good supervisory experiences. ? Fluency in written and spoken English. ? Fluency in utilizing offices software. ? Familiar with US market is an advantage.
