The inspection manager is responsible for driving the divisional inspection team to achieve the group quality assurance goals. Key functions involve: coordinating daily activities of the divisional inspection teams, optimize inspection asset allocation and driving efficiencies in inspection coverage, ensure accuracy of the inspection plans and related inspection protocols. Essential Duties and Responsibilities ? Work with US QA team on inspection team development strategy ? Process optimizing and assessment to inspection team; ? Follow up quality issues such as CAPA, SCAR from US customers, US QA team and suppliers. ? Communicate with suppliers to solve quality issues found during inspections and report final solutions to the line manager. ? Work with HR on new inspector and team members recruitment ? Provide inspection training & guidance to junior inspectors and related team. ? Drive the inspection team to achieve the inspection goals. ? Develop inspection checklist with SQE and lab teams ? Regional layout of inspectors for better efficiency; ? Willing to work under pressure and flexibility to travel frequently when required in order to achieve inspection deadlines ? Can pilot run all new reports and checklists format. ? Deal with production and material problems with supplier, problem cause analysis and provide problem solution and improvement approach; ? Ensure corrective action plans are implemented with our suppliers ? Timely report and communication with US QA team to provide information in relation to products and customer requirements ? Work closely with cross departments; ? Maintain regular communication with our factories. ? Ability to work independently and manage time effectively ? Coach and monitor the team on observing company disciplines ? Additional duties as assigned by manager. Job Qualifications – Education and Experience ? Minimum of 10 years experience on quality control and manufacturing background ? College diploma or above. ? Experience in managing the inspection team ? Strong team leader, excellent communication and inter-personal skills ? Hands-on practical experience with related HFT product offerings is desired. ? Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people both inside and outside the company. ? Integrity, sense of urgency, collaborative team style, and ability to quickly adapt to changes in priorities with strong decision making skills. ? Written communication skills necessary for technical report writing, and strong follow-up skills. ? Ability to exercise independent judgment and carry out responsibilities with a minimum of direction. ? Good understanding of manufacturing Quality processes ? With knowledge of US standards such as UL, CSA, ETL, ANSI, ASTM standard is preferred. ? Fluent in both written and oral English and Mandarin ? Proficient in Microsoft office software such as excel, word etc. ? Flexible and high efficiently
