Job Summary: The Marketing and Admissions Manager at YCIS Shanghai will be responsible for contributing to and implementing marketing strategies, event management and business development to increase the school's visibility and enrollment. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can effectively communicate the school's values, academic projects, and achievements through school events and compelling storytelling. This role will collaborate with teachers, staff, and external partners to showcase the school's strengths and create a positive image in the community. Major Responsibilities: 1. Event Management Plan, coordinate and execute on-campus and off-campus marketing events of the whole school, including Maker Faire, TEDx and community outreach events, to showcase the school’s strength and students’ achievements. Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote academic programmes through school events. 2. Campus Marketing and Storytelling: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the school’s academic programmes, unique features, modern approaches, and students’ achievements. Collaborate with teachers to identify and highlight noteworthy academic projects and success stories. Create captivating content, including articles, videos and social media posts to enage current and prospective families. Create and maintain a respository of success stories and testimonials from students, prarents and staff. Collaborate with the communication teams of YCIS Shanghai and YCYW Education Network to ensure consistent messaging and branding across the school Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve marketing objectives and enrolment targets. 3. Admissions Channel Development Developand maintain relationships with local communities, high-end compunds, international education partners, relocation and real estate agencies to attract a diverse pool of applicants 4. Market Research Stay informed about international education trends, competitor school and demographic shifts to help form the marketing strategies of the school. Conduct surveys and gather feedback from current and prospective parents and students to improve marketing and admissions efforts. 5. Others Assist the Head of Marketing and Admissions in developing the strategic plan, reporting, analysis, and implementing marketing and admissions initiatives to achieve the division goal as well as the school targets. Coordinate or support other projects and tasks as required. Skills required: 1. Proven experience in marketing, preferably in an international school or an educational institution with international working environment 2. Good knowledge of international education trends and best practices 3. Rich event planning and management experience 4. Strong storytelling and content creation skills and experience 5. Bilingual skills and international experience are must-to-have 6. Excellent English and Chinese language proficiency, able to use both languages to write and edit 7. Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team 8. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) 9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
