Job Description: - Daily communication with supplier, sub-suppliers, customer and internal parties like QC department. - Find new suppliers/use old supplier base for making bids on tender lists for large European retailers. Being able to carry out whole process when bidding for tender items. - Be main driver in communication and workflow with commercial team in Denmark, hereunder initiate follow up meeting, product develop meetings and tender list meetings. - Be main driver and to initiate product development in small furniture based upon trends and input from commercial team and suppliers. - Visiting suppliers to maintain good relationship, product developing, managing production schedule without quality problems - Taking new items into production going from sample stage to finalized orders, hereunder carrying out trial production. - Being able to assist within order follow up with customer, follow the order status and foresee delays and prevent it or minimize its impact, Coordinate with Quality Dept. for the inline and final quality control. - Problem solving in terms of production, delivery terms, costs issues, quality issues in the supply chain. - Follow up the logistics with suppliers and shipping Dept., make sure the product dispatched on time, shipping schedule and cost always in the consideration and to be optimized. - Follow up the payment both with supplier and customer, make sure the payment follows the contract term. - Documentation preparation and verification with Logistics Dept. for Account Receivable and Account Payable. Make sure documentations always clean and accurate. Chase/Submit the documents to Logistics Dept. in time.
Requirements: - Bachelor graduate in business or international trading or other relevant manufacturing background in furniture business. - Above 5 years of working experience in furniture business with big retailers. - JYSK experiences is preferable. - Proficiency with Windows, Word & Excel. - Good reading and writing English capability. - Serious and responsible, honest and trustworthy. - Have strong learning ability and problem-solving ability. - Organized, careful with details. - Like working with tender lists competing with other competitors to win the items. - Positive and able to work under pressure. - Team player and but able to work independently. - Ability to deal with and drive change.
Other Requirements: - Well-known to furniture business, and good ability to create product development. - Experiences in furniture product development and sourcing is preferable. - Good knowledge and understanding of manufactory procedures in furniture business - Worked with big European retailers within furniture, preferable with clients like JYSK.
