Job Description: 1. Analyse customer’s demands and expectations to find best possibly technical and economic solution to finish the development of product and make the Launch happen 通过认真研究分析了解客户需求以及对产品定位的预期,找到最合理的技术方案并且能够以更优成本完成产品开发并上市。 2. According to the project, sourcing proper vendors to handle the development work and further production, benchmark the price with existing vendor and others to make sure the price level under the market level. 根据产品要求,寻找合适的供应商开发产品以及后续的订单生产,要求与公司现有供应商以及新供应商做价格对标,确保价格处于市场合理范围内。 3. Analyse and train the new supplier sourced by client. To make them achieve the expectation and in compliance with the business requirement. Secure the capacity for company needs and development. 培训客人所选的供应商,使之成为符合公司的合作伙伴。并确保有足够产能满足客户的订单要求。 4. Check all the samples selected by client and sign off the golden sample. Make the production sheet and set up the product quality standard together with quality department. 客人完成选样下单后,需要查看每一个样品并制定质量标准,完成产品规范手册作为供应商生产的标准。 5. Anticipate risks which could happen during the sample checking and be able to provide proper solutions. Make sure client can receive the products without quality problem. 在样品检查过程中能够预判各种问题及风险,能够提供合适的解决方案,确保客人收到的大货产品没有质量及生产问题。 6. Cooperate with operation department to follow up the order. Make sure shipment can be delivered on time and need to solve the sudden case if happens. 协同操作部门同事一起跟单,确保订单能在客人要求时间出运。需要临时处理突发状况。 7. Provide professional and efficient service to customer in daily communication and summarize the product development and order status in weekly meeting. Necessary travel required. 在日常的沟通中提供专业而且高效的服务给客户,能清楚产品开发进度以及订单状况并且在美洲的视频会议中与客人总结情况。能够应对必要的出差要求。 8. Claim handling. Make the action plan for the problem found and claim negotiation with supplier. 如有客诉发生,需要制定产品改进计划以及和供应商进行索赔谈判。
Requirements: - Bachelor graduate in business or international trading or other relevant manufacturing background in furniture business. - Above 5 years of working experience in furniture business with big retailers. - Furniture QA/engineering. - Proficiency with Windows, Word & Excel. - Good reading and writing English capability. - Serious and responsible, honest and trustworthy. - Have strong learning ability and problem-solving ability. - Organized, careful with details. - Like working with tender lists competing with other competitors to win the items. - Positive and able to work under pressure. - Team player and but able to work independently. - Ability to deal with and drive change.
Other Requirements: - Well-known to furniture business, and good ability to create product development. - Experiences in furniture product development and sourcing is preferable. - Good knowledge and understanding of manufactory procedures in furniture business - Worked with big European retailers within furniture, preferable with clients.
