- According to raw materials replenishment plan, release orders to suppliers including trade orders operation. Follow order process and closely work with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. Inform the planner or customer service in time if any inconformity with the raw materials supply, so that to adjust the production plan and pre-notify customers of possible delay. Coordinate with planner on maintaining inventory levels that meet the company’s production and inventory management goals.
- Evaluate pricing for raw materials assigned by Purchasing Manager. Coordinate all pricing activities with the Strategic Purchasing group.
- Maintain appropriate RM and supplier master data information within SAP and other related computer systems, in order to ensure timely purchases of raw materials for production. Maintain raw material costs and record all changes in the computer system for those items assigned by Purchasing Manager.
- Settle all purchase order discrepancies including rejections, invoicing issues and receiving issues. Ensure that rejected materials are returned to the supplier as expeditiously as possible.
- Recommend disposition of obsolete raw materials in a timely manner, based on input from inventory management reports & sales forecast.
- Coordinate with Purchasing Manager and vendors on matters regarding performance-based issues to ensure the Company’s customer and quality management goals are being met. Ensure the proper administrative management of the transactional portion of the Company’s Vendor Certification Program, including supplier evaluation and auditing.
- Perform allied duties and special projects as requested by the Purchasing Manager, Commodity Managers or Director of Materials Management.
- Upon request by Purchasing Manager, assist the Global Sourcing Officer with sample request and handling of globally coordinated items.

Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Joint Venture, chemical or perfuming industry related will be an advantage.
- Fluent in English (oral and written).
- Strong communication capability.
- Good working attitude: Quick learning, responsible, willing to take high working load and pressure, team cohesiveness; patient for details.
