Role Purpose: Under the leading of Head of Technology, support key accounts from technical sides, maximize the satisfaction of the customers. Lead the AT team to support BU’s strategy and business grow.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pre-sales 1)Proactive visit customers and present to customers (including promotion and explaining right products/solution for customer needs or interpret customers needs for product development) 2)Prepare TDS (technical data sheet) together with TD and technology Head 3)Involve in all stages of project (new product or new customers)including printing trials 4)Keep strong connections with key accounts in different level, and understanding our competitors’ activities. Identify new business opportunities for Siegwerk at local customer 5)Understand the technical trend of the whole CE market, and transfer them to TD team for new developing work. 6)Marketing promotion, including seminar, key accounts promotion and etc.
2. Trials and Lab technology work 1)Design testing plan and guide implementation 2)Modifying the formula in lab to fit the customers’ requirements, and fulfil the on-line trial 3)Color management, formula (just blending) creation/optimization 4)Quick trouble shooting during testing progress, discuss with internal TD and external BOs/converters for final solution 5)Contact key customers routinely, understand the new requirements from customers, solve the issue and support onsite trials.
3. Technical Service 1)Trouble shooting/print support, independently handle complicated and challenging problems, and deal with key accounts 2)Coordinate to handle customer complaints and PSR inquiries 3)Check and manage ink portal information and process compliance
4. Cross-border collaboration, regional and global communication 1)Collaborate with open-mind with different functions, e.g. SCM (Supply Chain Management) and other functions in a team-oriented manner, and proactively leverage support/resources to drive business 2)Support regional/global strategy, such as CE and etc.
5. People and team management 1)Monitor the team’s activities, and make sure the efficiency by allocating resources in different project or other technical works. 2)Mentoring the junior team member and guide them in case needed 3)Motivates staff, gives insightful feedback and coaches/ trains team members
Requirements:
1.Bachelor degree in printing, chemistry, printing machines or related areas; 2.At least 8 years in printing, inks or printing coatings. Knowledge of electronic products packaging is preferred. 3.Min. 5 years above Team/people management experiences 4.Experience of project management 5.Communication skills(English & Chinese) 6.Customer orientation, problem analysis and solving 7.Willing to work under pressure, and self-motivated 8.Willing to travel(50%)
