Description: ?To do new design parts manufacture feasibility study (DFM) in terms of manufacture feasibility, simplicity of process and competitive cost. ?To define the manufacturing specifications, do metallic parts price estimation, participate in the supplier selection & audit. ?To ensure the tooling/ jig/ gage design & fabrication are conformed to manufacturing specification, manage supplier sample submission. ?To confirm the feasibility, cost & lead-time for tooling/ jig/ gage modification during part verification phase. and confirm all tooling parameters (part weight, sprue/runner weight, machine tonnage, cycle time…) for part cost negotiation reference for purchasing engineer. ?To handover the tools and relative document mass production entity. Qualifications :1. Required skills & knowledge for the position: a) Background in mechanical, automation or industrialization b) Good knowledge on tooling technologies regarding stamping, sheet metal, bending and machining. c) Good knowledge on heat treatment and surface treatment on metallic parts d) Being able to propose the most economic investment & process cost on metallic parts e) Good experience on using CAD software 2. Required Educational Background & Professional Experience: a) University degree in Engineering. b) Stamping die design and manufacture experience is plus 3. Languages: a) Good English in oral and written b) Good communication skills
