Tasks: - Assess, qualify, and evaluate suppliers from quality point of view, conduct thorough supplier audits and assessments, addressing specific requirements for each supplier type. - Implement quality assurance processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, and maintain quality standards for tower manufacturing and assembly, tower internal parts, ensuring adherence to specific manufacturing processes. - Capable of Driving new supplier introduction and homologations - Work collaboratively with suppliers to implement process controls and improvements, addressing the distinct challenges posed by steel manufacturing, tower fabrication, and power cable manufacturing, etc. - Maintain detailed records of supplier performance, audits, and inspection reports, categorizing them based on supplier type. - Generate regular reports on key quality metrics, emphasizing the unique aspects of each supplier category, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field - Proven experience in supplier quality management, familiar with standards and regulations applicable to the wind industry, preferably with an understanding on LV, MV electrical components. - Good communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across functions in a matrix organization. - Willingness to travel. - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, heat, and heavy machinery.
