He/she will work closely with Sales, Marketing and regional Business Development team members from across the segment and Company to foster a “one team” mentality and way of working with a laser-like focus on increasing sales and leverage Company partner relationships to facilitate high level prospect strategies. The role demands excellent organization and interpersonal skills and requires a high degree of energy and an uncompromising approach to meeting commitments as well as in-depth market knowledge. The ability to create and lead a cohesive and effective team from cross functional resources and departments will be needed to manage the full end to end Business Development implementation. This is a Full-time role with performance measured against defined KPI’s and Targets. Key Responsibilities Evaluating and Proposing new Business prospects to deliver Business Development Opportunities in High Growth Electrification sector in China Overall strategy build up for new Electrification Fastening applications, Complete Thermal Management and fully accountable for the implementation Guide new electrification product definition and prioritization to supplement our current COMPANY product portfolios, and NPI of battery pack spare parts, in close collaboration with regional Business Leaders Collaborate new product or application execution with go-to market commercial teams, engineering and supply chain Drive Exponential Business Growth and outpace Industry trend Gather and share intelligence on specific markets to lead cross functional teams Collaborate with Innovation and Manufacturing 4.0 teams to develop cutting edge solutions for our customers Planning and Cost / Budget estimation for Project ideation and Leadership team review. Arrange and lead business requirements discovery sessions to drive and facilitate a change culture across all Business functions and regions Coordinate the participation of individuals in multiple locations and influence employee resources to maximize results Execute cross business strategies in the field alongside Company commercial representatives Build durable working relationships within business unit leadership and their regional teams to ensure continued support of the cross-business program Provide a central point of contact within the assigned territory to keep communication dynamic among the regional team Coordinate cross-BU events such as trade shows, safety seminars and regional team meetings Share intelligence from across the customer landscape to Company stakeholders in all relevant BUs Lead high level strategic account strategies for top prospects Travel Required, in Greater China and globally in Americas, Europe, Asia based on demand.
What You Will Bring To Company Electrification technology expertise and know-how for new products and applications, spreading knowledge to OEM & Tier Business Commercial Units in Automotive as well as Industrial segment Insights of Electrification technology trends, initiate and drive new product/technology development according to customers' needs or market trends Strategic relationships with market key players, conduct regular exchanges to sense customer needs and develop potential cooperation. Translate market intelligence/dynamics collection into actionable plans to the team New Electrification application projects, acting as project leader Aggressive business growth mindset, outperform targets Leadership by example, supporting activities as needed or assigned by manager Job Holder – Essential Experience, Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications BA/BS Degree required, MBA or PMI Certification Preferred; in Engineering, Science or Business discipline from an accredited institution 10+years of related work experience within the electrification industry (battery manufacturer or OEM E-mobility design team) or equivalent positions from similar companies focus on electrification market preferred Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements; excellent track record in delivering global products and understanding of local and regional differences Previous experience in a Commercial, Business Development leadership role. Good knowledge of end-to-end Business concepts, process and best practices in an Automotive and Industrial environment Customer orientated with a real sense for the marketplace Ability to influence stakeholders and proven record of interaction with Senior Leadership. High level of enthusiasm about being at the forefront of customer value driven Electrification and a passion for excellence Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity and ongoing change Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral/written communication skills; able to rely on experience to accomplish goals.
