Job Output: Leads and is responsible for North Asia marketing including marketing strategies and positioning (incl-MGPP). Fosters market trend analysis so decisions on direction are robust, tested and agreed. Ensures platforms are shared and adopted in North Asia and drives a ‘team’ approach within the Company Values. Key Process (Ownership/Participation): - Actively participates in and works within the China Leadership Team to develop viable strategic options in both short and long term timeframes. Robust market data, trends, competition tracking are key elements to identify and unlock opportunity spaces. Runs allocated sections of the North Asia Strategic Planning process. - Drives North Asia marketing plans and execution. - Drives the marketing/selling tools that are required to differentiate our systems under the ‘layered marketing’ approach. Develops a network (internal/external) that allows such opportunity to be brought to the organizations attention. - Manages, enhances and keeps current the marketing assets (customer databases, social media) and market data (trends, competition). - Instigates research required to drive the customer perspective (designers, developers/builders, fit-out companies). Ensures robust interpretation of such data. Where agreed turns these into effective and targeted campaigns - Proactive in fostering Organizational Vitality in the development of talent to drive the business. Nurtures a culture that has the marketing/NPD teams in constant contact with the market forces and the sales organization. - Communicates regularly with the organization to ensure alignment and engagement with marketing/NPD activities. - Keeps abreast of market, industry and broader economic trends and communicates these within Company. - Develops and maintains a network that ensures the organization is knowledgeable and capable of taking advantage of opportunities. - Carries out all duties safely and with consideration of environmental impact, understands and works within the Company Values, Compliance system and Code of Business Conduct. - Carries out other duties in the company’s interest as agreed with Company management.
