PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
? The Training and Development Manager is a key position within a newly created team responsible for delivering internal
TMS training and supporting materials across Greater China. It will play an essential role in performing training needs
assessments, designing and delivering curriculum s learning materials and managing all phases of the training
interventions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Build training programs and prepare teaching plans focusing on different business needs.
? Create curriculums to facilitate strategic training based on the organizations goals.
? Lead the training team to conduct training sessions.
? Develop and oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals.
? Design quizzes and exams to measure the training results.
? Establish the follow-up structure to monitor training quality results
? Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior
? Stay abreast of any changes and new features in operation to continuously improve the training programs, teaching plans and learning materials.
? Assess employees’ skills, performance and productivity to identify areas of improvement.
? Effectively communicate with team members, trainers and management.
SKILL LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
? 5 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding industry, possess a great knowledge of air/sea operations .
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of partners,
senior managers, and subject matter experts (Mandarin and
? Strong visualizing skills, including translating operational requirements to training modules , vice versa.
? Proven ability to master the full training cycle
? Experience of the whole project life cycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage, have a great sense of
maintaining a timely tasks completion
? Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
? Knowledge of CargoWise One TMS solution is a plus
