Key Responsibilities: 1. Trade performance supervision and follow up: - Monitor the daily trade operation and key business indicators. - Alert the abnormal situation or performance fluctuation in a timely manner. - Tracking & chasing delivery of action plans. - Set up business monitoring and anomaly analysis system, identify problem and causes, and work on solution setting. - Assist in collecting information for weekly update to RO/HO line Management on market situation (Competition rates and activities, cargo flow etc) - Responsible for conceptualizing an overall analytics and insight plan for China Trade Management. - Drive data knowledge building for key stakeholders, need to transform data/report into understandable insights in a clear and effective manner.
2. Strategic analysis: - Organize and gather information from various departments/stakeholders and meetings to ensure an accurate and clear reporting. - Analyse market/industry trends, provide business insights and solution recommendation. - Lead various strategic marketing analysis and reporting to support strategic planning/development. - Continuous optimize dashboard fitting with latest business strategy and market trend.
3. Project Management: - Co-ordinate internal and external project and provide periodic project progress review in details. - Take lead role on task-based meeting organization, team discussion. - Coordinate project / planning calendar and agenda.
4. Process Optimization: - Review of internal processes adherence. - Develop meeting templates and presentation materials. - Generate meeting minutes and govern follow-up steps. - Deploy best practices, new tools, or approaches within the department whenever relevant.
5. Team Management including but not limited to: - To help organize, manage, optimize and develop team capability and competence. - To liaise with internal departments and overseas/other domestic offices to monitor, guarantee and evaluate the service and tasks delivered. - Organize team meetings and raise alerts to direct management when objectives not in line with targets. - Train team members in technical aspects of data interpretation.
6. Strictly follow CMA CGM Group and local agency compliance rule.
7. Be responsible for any other assignments as and when requested by the local Company Management or ARO/HO Management.
Required Experience & Skills: 1. Minimum Bachelor Degree, with 10+ years of shipping industry experience 2. Good skills of data science, analytics, digital application, database marketing. 3. Sound record within the industry and being familiar with local shipping market with extensive relationship. 4. Possess management and commercial skills, professional, autonomous with strong ability to drive forward. 5. Results oriented, analytical, and a great team spirit. 6. Willing to work under pressure and self-motivated. 7. Good communication/negotiation/reporting skills. 8. Fluent in English and mandarin.
