As one of our compliance specialists for furniture your focus will be to ensure products meet quality and safety requirements for EUDR. EUDR is responsible for the maintenance and implementation of Trade Point (the Company)’s Due Diligence System (DDS) to ensure products meet the requirements of the EUDR regulation and the requirements of customers.

You will be a part of our China team (Shanghai office) and an important part of our China Team. You will daily be in contact with colleagues in our Shanghai office.
Main tasks and role,
· Work and collaborate with other team members to create, implement, and update the Company’s DDS aiming to identity, mitigate and report risks, including policies, procedures, and tools, according to the EUDR regulation, and customers’ requirements.
· Conduct internal training and support internal audit.
· Conduct supplier training, audit, site verification and investigation.
· Collect, review, verify supply chain information and records, prepare, and submit EUDR documentation within specified timeline to meet required ETD.
· Support, facilitate and verify certification programs, such as FSC.
· Support other departments including BD team, suppliers, and customers in EUDR related cases.
· Collaborate with headquarter to handle EUDR related claims.
· Create, upload, and maintain EUDR related data and records.
· Analyze and report EUDR compliance status.
· Work with third party lab to find the best solution for, coordinate and arrange wood Isotope testing and anatomy.
· Coordinate and support supplier in third part audits, including Unique Wood Source (UWS) evaluation and On-Site Audit (OSA) by third party (Preferred-by-nature, PBN) per requirement.
Knowledge and personal competences,
Educational background: bachelor’s degree in wood science, forestry, technology, supply chain, law, or relevant work experience.
Knowledge of timber regulations, such as EUTR/EUDR, the Lacey Act, etc., and FSC certification program.
Experience in supply chain audit and factory audit is preferred.
Knowledge of wood processing procedure and wooden furniture production process is preferred.
Proven skill in documentation review, analysis, and reporting.
Detail oriented, organized, and proactive, with a keen urgency to complete tasks in time.
Good communication skills and data analysis skills.
Master English and Chinese in writing and speech.
Skilled user of MS Office package and MS Dynamics 365.
