Tasks: 1. Watch and analyze raw material price development in both China and International Market 2. Achieving strategic goals and initiatives, e.g. by carrying out tenders, market research, drawing up contracts, etc. 3. Consider and help shape S&OP planning 4. Actively shape and implement the strategic alignment of the product groups and procurement strategies in the Becker Group 5. Ensuring the best possible strategic alignment for assigned product groups, e.g. with regard to best suppliers, best conditions & optimal hedging (best sourcing strategy) and implementation of purchasing measures 6. Ensuring the availability of materials and possible risks in all economic cycles, ensuring the supply of parts in line with requirements throughout the lifecycle 7. Designing the supplier portfolio in accordance with our requirements (identifying, qualifying, evaluating, clustering and developing suppliers) and taking into account legal requirements (Code of Conduct, LksG, REACH/ROHS, conflict materials, etc.) 8. Planning and conducting negotiations with suppliers 9. Continuous generation of cost avoidance and cost savings for Becker's total spend 10. Define framework conditions in consultation with the team leader (contracts, capacity assurance, requirement agreements, dual source quotes, etc.) 11. Make awards on the basis of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and company targets in consultation with the team leader, initiate make or buy decisions 12. Actively shaping process optimizations, CIP (Cost improvement process) and implementing them in consultation with the team leader 13. Innovation scouting through, among other things, networking, supplier visits, trade fair visits, committee work - BME, etc. 14. Analysing supplier evaluation, deriving measures from supplier quality in consultation with employees 15. Processing complaints and supporting the clarification of invoice discrepancies 16. Ensuring early supplier involvement & active innovation discussions with suppliers, supplier communication, clarification of internal and external queries
Competencies: 1. Initial professional experience in strategic purchasing with an international focus 2. Technical knowledge of the product groups for which you are responsible 3. Knowledge of the procurement market regarding the responsible product groups 4. Commercial studies or a degree in industrial engineering or similar 5. Knowledge of modern strategic purchasing tools 6. High affinity for data and ability to process and analyse large volumes of data 7. ERP knowledge 8. Very good, business fluent English
