Job Summary: Performs a wide variety of duties related to the handling of import air freight shipments. Duties & Responsibilities: Specific duties including, but not restricted to: - Able to handle full set Air Freight Import Documents, booking and cost checking. - Monitor the daily operation of your team - Supervise, guide, educate and motivate your subordinates - Follow instructions and implement policies from Management (e.g. GBO, QM system, etc) - Problem shooting & resolving - Oversee and control the expedition of documents according to company policies - Actively respond to emails/faxes/calls in a professional way - Keep the good relationship with present customers and try to develop new customers - Deliver top customer service, by exceeding out customers expectations - Review and improve operations procedure - Familiar with the Rohlig Quality System in place, and operate in accordance - Keep consignee/shipper/overseas parties up to date on issues affecting them - Collect and check vendor's shipping documents and scan them into eDocs in EDI - Follow the credit control procedures in place - Approve invoices from overseas office/agents and sub-contractors - Prepare invoices to customers/agents on time (strictly following the quotation provided by sales, if any) - Chase correct profit shares from overseas office/agents - Be aware of profit and budget goals; close and file all jobs once checked - Arrange deliveries and present documents to sub-contractors timely - Better / more knowledge involvement in IT - Follow the superior's instructions and implement policies - Report any special occasions to a superior on time - Any other duties as assigned from time to time KPI's - Invoicing to customer within 5 days from ETA of Imports/ within 5 days from ETD of Exports - Arrival Notice with shipping documents to be sent to local customers within 24 hours of overseas Pre-alert receipt - WIPs: Within 45 days from ETD(of Export)/ETA(of Import) Accruals: within 120 days from ETD(of Export)/ETA(of Import) Skills & Educational Requirements: - Customer service driven attitude - Good communication skill with local customers and overseas - Fair in English and reasonable Mandarin. - PC knowledge. Typing speed of 40 words per minutes. Inter Relationships: Good communications with superior and subordinates. Good contact with all levels within the company and with clients and vendors Working conditions: Flexible hours required occasionally Needed Attributes: Willing to learn, Hard-working, punctual, organized, team play spirit, able to give feedback to Superior.
