JOB SUMMARY The Engineering Manager will be responsible to lead and manage all engineering team member and site activities of entire engineering system including GBR and MEP. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 61 Lead and manage on-site engineering team and subcontractors. 61 Key technical contact point and liaison with client Facility Manager regarding any site operation and maintenance management activities. 61 Site work activities schedule coordination with other function team or service providers like Security, Janitorial etc. 61 Manage to supervise, escort, and coordinate maintenance activities programing and execution from on-site team and subcontractor staff. 61 Emergency response in case of system failure and/ or critical incident. 61 Manage to develop, update, review, report on all operation and maintenance documentation including SOP, PPM, Reporting. 61 Manage troubleshooting of critical operation and maintenance issues. 61 Manage in all services in full compliance with client’s security and EHS policies. 61 Energy saving & management knowledge would be a plus 61 Participate in design review of new workspace or space expansion from facility operation perspective. 61 Early engaged in construction project to inspect, witness, review and validate MEP/GBR facility system and equipment from facility operation perspective. 61 Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business. FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company. Relevant Engineer certificate issued by the state; Training certificate from IFMA and other similar institutions EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE College or Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical. Total around 7 years or above working experience include around 3-year managerial experience in engineering service. Knowledge and understanding of all applicable practices and techniques, laws, project controls and environmental regulations to include safety regulations.
