The Technical Sales Manager will represent Silverstream Technologies in promoting its products and services to potential Customers. They will own the sales of Silverstream System solutions for allocated customers, sales channels, and market segments. They include driving the sales process for allocated opportunities, including the review and qualification of leads and opportunities, bid strategy setting, review of customer enquiry documentation, performing business case evaluations, and customer negotiations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In line with Company procedures: 1. Generate leads and develop market/customer intelligence, customer relationships and marketing opportunities for the Silverstream System. 2. Schedule, co-ordinate and implement customer sales presentations and customer sales visits and support marketing events. 3. Perform the qualification of leads and opportunities. 4. Review of customer enquiry documentation and defining opportunity bid strategies. 5. Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, including scope documentation, terms and conditions and cost and price make ups, working closely with engineering, supply chain, commercial and delivery teams. 6. Undertake customer business case evaluations. 7. Prepare and participate in customer bid negotiations. 8. Adhere to the agreed Company proposal approval process. 9. Participate and lead sales handover meetings as required. 10. Manage allocated leads and opportunities within the Company CRM system. 11. Assist the business with feedback and improvements to our product offerings in line with customer requirements. 12. Represent the Silverstream Technologies business in a professional and positive manner at all times.

* Experience in sales and proposal development activity related to equipment sales within the marine sector. * Have a strong customer focus, be personable and presentable and be able to work effectively with internal and external customers. * Good technical knowledge of marine equipment and systems and their application. * Able to provide technical and commercial presentations both internally and to potential customers. * Good understanding of commercial terms and conditions. * Experience with sales processes and CRM systems. * Be computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office. * Self-starter and able to work independently. * Can work across teams effectively. * Have strong communication skills – both written and oral. * Have excellent organisational skills.
