Main Purpose of the Roles 61 Project Management Engineer is responsible for the planning, coordination, control and completion of assigned new product/platform as required by marketing/customers. 61 These innovation activities should be part of the business growth strategy of the company and will involve cross-functional and multi-site international teams. Responsibilities shall include ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. B. Key Areas of Accountability: 61 Project Planning and Budgeting: develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Also work with the finance team to establish and manage the project budget. 61 Risk Management: identify potential risks associated with the project and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. This involves creating contingency plans and monitoring the project environment for changes that could impact the project. 61 Resource Coordination: coordinate the efforts of various teams, including design, engineering, manufacturing, and MKT, to ensure that all project components are completed on time and to specification. 61 Quality Assurance: ensure the product meets the required quality standards by overseeing testing and inspection processes. 61 Communication: maintain regular communication with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, to keep them informed of project progress, issues, and changes. 61 Scheduling and Progress Tracking: develop and maintain the project schedule, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time. 61 Documentation: responsible for creating and maintaining project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and other records that capture the project's history and current status. 61 Team Leadership: lead the project teams, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure that team members can successfully complete their assignments. 61 Post-Project Analysis: After project completion, conduct reviews to assess what went well and what could be improved in future projects.
