岗位职责

Main tasks and responsibilities

The Supply Chain Manager, China should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be an analytical

thinker, and demonstrate a good working knowledge of procurement practices, process as well as strategies.

To source suitable vendor budgetary information to allow development of project cost estimates and

schedules and to ensure all order is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to

the project schedule.

Providing key support to the Head of Supply Chain, Asia / General Manager, Asia in the delivery of agreed

objectives in line with the Project Plan / Procurement strategy, with responsible for developing and

executing a comprehensive Implementation Plan.

Develop supply chain collaboration with choice of partner, of turn win lose situation into right sharing

benefit for both manufacturer and vendor.

Perform sourcing, liaising, and negotiating with new and existing suppliers to improve business.

Re‐negotiate contracts with suppliers to produce better savings and further value for spend for the APAC

Procurement.

Strong project management skills combined with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels and

self‐motivation, passion for driving and implementing change together with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsible for providing expertise and ensures the application of correct standards in all Engineering

Material Requisition Packages issues during the Request for Proposal & Bid (RFP & Invite to Bid) of projects

phase.

Education

Education and professional experience

Bachelor’s in environmental/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 5‐10 years of

procurement experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to work independently.

Strong communication skills, Good verbal & writing English skills.

Good time management skills and team player.

Expertise in negotiating cost, direct & indirect business contract term.

Excellent computer skills – Microsoft 365 (PPT, Word & Excel), MRP/ERP & Autodesk CAD.

Good Technical knowledge on mechanical, instrument, electrical equipment and skid fabrication.
