The responsibilities of this position are to provide high-quality technical training courses to dealers and support dealers to improve and develop their technical capabilities. At the same time, support the technical training manager to update and optimize technical training course materials, formulate technical training plans, set technical training targets, coordinate the management of the technical training center, participate in market technical support and other related technical area.
1.Prepare training activity - Ensure conditions are in place for the training
* Analyse target group * Continuously optimize training materials ( F2F & Online ) according to product upgrades * Study course material * Adapt material and training activities to learner group * Secure that all practicalities are in place – facilities, equipment and other necessities * Secure administration regarding learners * Confirm training prerequisites are met * Create/review the training time plan Before start-up
* Ensure equipment works * Set the stage by furnishing the room to fit the learning activity 2.Conduct training activity, face to face (ILT = Instructor Led Training)
Starting up activity
* Inform about safety and evacuation (ILT) * Create and maintain a safe learning environment * Follow-up absent learners * Verify that learning objectives are understood * Clarify learners’ expectations During activity
* Ensure high quality delivery of training courses * Keep learners active and engaged * Feedback and encourage learners * Evaluate learning progress during training * Adjust program to learners’ level of knowledge * Challenge learners with probing questions * Encourage learners’ own experiences and insights * Coach and facilitate the learning experience * Use a variety of pedagogical tools and methods Finishing activity
* Ensure that all learning objectives are met * Follow-up on expectations 3.Follow up training activity - Ensure training activities are followed up properly
* Evaluate training * Feed-back from activity to Learning Developer/stakeholder * Improve and update content * Self-assess trainer performance * Follow up learning application after suitable time 4. Improvement works according to the Scania Way (SRS) - Understand and act according to the Scania way framework
* Understand and act according to the Scania way framework * Maintain the normal situation, detect deviations and act immediately to eliminate them * Contribute to daily follow-up, daily steering * Participate and contribute to improvement activities based on a standardized working method 5. Training center management - Manage according to the management process of the training center
* Work with technical training manager together to continuously optimize the management process of the training center. Including training vehicle, training tools, facility etc. * Ensure that the training canter’s facilities are within the effective safe use period
Desirable experience and qualifications:
* College education above. Mechanical or engineering major related * Technical work experience above 5 years of Commercial vehicle * Ability of office software * Technical background or technical training background * Business knowledge and experience from a similar role an advantage * Can read and write in English, Oral English is a plus
