As a Product Marketing manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to promote TEMPUR, TEMPUR Living and Home by Tempur products across the Chinese market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, branding and training team to drive brand awareness, increase customer engagement, and ultimately, generate revenue. Your expertise in market research, competitive analysis, consumer insights and creativity will be critical in shaping our product positioning, product image and communication.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Positioning and Messaging: - Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiate our product offerings in the market. The tone has to maintain brand luxury image yet appealing to TA. - Collaborate with the product development team to understand product features, benefits, and target customer needs. - Create persuasive marketing materials, such as product descriptions, brochures, and presentations, that effectively communicate key value propositions of the products. 2. Go-to-Market collateral: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive go-tomarket plans for new products. - Plan and develop creative marketing collaterals (such as photos, videos, catalogue) and work with branding team to apply in various channels, including digital, social media, and offline platforms…etc. 3. Market Research and Analysis: - Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape. - Analyze market data, consumer behavior, and sales metrics to gain insights and make informed decisions. - Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product positioning to identify opportunities and potential threats. 4. Sales Enablement: - Collaborate with the training team to develop sales tools, training materials, and presentations that effectively communicate product value propositions. - Provide training team and sales team with product knowledge, competitive intelligence, and marketing support to drive sales growth. - Monitor market feedback and customer insights to identify opportunities for product improvements and enhancements.
Qualifications and Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. - Proven experience in product marketing, preferably in the luxury home furnishings industry. - A deep understanding of the Chinese market and consumer behavior. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from market research data. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English. - Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns. - Strong time manageable and collaboration skills. - Creative thinking and the ability to translate product features into compelling marketing messages. - Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue and achieving targets.
