Our client is a French luxury porcelain brand privately owned and operated who manufactures in Limoges and distributes globally a large selection of existing & bespoke products (tableware, giftware, decorative objects, jewelry, art pieces, lighting and furniture) to satisfy the needs of UHNWIs, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, first-class airlines, luxury brands, corporations, etc.
They are seeking a Sales Manager China. This person will be based in Shanghai, and report to the Regional Sales Director.
Job Responsibilities:
The Sales Manager China will be responsible for the development, sales growth and business management of existing and new accounts in China mainland for the retail/wholesale, hospitality, & corporate division and so on. Including: 61 To be responsible for the sales turnover 61 Exceed direct sales goals by managing distribution networks and ongoing prospection activities in China 61 Monitor and supervise offline and online POS merchandising, brand exposure and etc. 61 Contribute to new wholesale & POS development 61 Maintain and achieve high standard customer service (presentations, quotations, trainings, deliveries, complains, etc.) 61 Follow-up on leads and referrals from field activity / Identify sales prospects 61 Keep track of enquiries and sales leads to generate weekly report, monthly forecast and performance 61 Conduct periodic market survey and analyze market trend as well as competitor’s movement and pricing 61 Schedule, coordinate & arrange travel, meetings, appointments, trade shows, business fairs & events 61 Update regularly the customer database by preparing & forwarding weekly and monthly reports to Manager 61 Research & identification of key data sources; projects & contacts identifications (Hotels, Restaurants, Private Clubs, shopping malls, etc.); short terms & urgent sales opportunities follow-up (do presentation, introduction, etc.)
Requirements: 61 Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in marketing, management, or related fields preferred 61 Native Chinese with excellent English level, French will be a plus 61 At least 3 years of experience in the luxury/tableware/hospitality industry 61 Excellent in customer service and public relations, with strong communication and interpersonal skills 61 Computer proficiency including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Outlook, Word, PPT and Excel 61 Sales and result-oriented individual 61 Entrepreneurial/self-driven person, with Luxury attitude 61 Pro-active person with creative mind 61 Work requires local travel and regional travel to prospect & attend tradeshows/events 61 Work in a showroom/office environment
