In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
61 Develop and manage supplier base per business needed and manage supplier relationships.
61 Handle RFQ process, including cost breakdown analysis / price comparison and negotiation.
61 Work with cross function team for supplier selection / supplier assessment & qualification / supplier on board process / sign agreements with supplier / project execution…
61 Manage supplier capacity / risk mitigation to ensure supply chain safety to meet business grown.
61 Work with cross function team to improve supplier performance incl. quality, OTD & cost; and drive continuous improvement at supplier side.
61 Other tasks assigned by line manager.
The essential requirements of the job include:
61 Bachelor’s degree in engineering related majors. Oral and writing proficiency in English & Mandarin.
61 Good communication skills & teamwork spirit is a must, especially the working experience with team from countries.
61 3 years sourcing experience in manufacturing industry. Engineering related work experience is a plus.
61 Results-oriented, able to work under pressure, adapt to rapid change, adapt to DBS culture. Be able to adapt to the changing environment and challenges while actively embracing change.
61 Energetic, able to adapt to flexible work and accept about 30% of travel.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
61 Managing projects in life science industry, with cross function team from different culture.
