Responsibilities: 1.Serve as the main contact for the company’s EHS risk management and emergency response activities, responsible for organizing and coordinating all related initiatives. 2.Identify and regularly assess compliance with applicable local regulations and company EHS directives, particularly regarding risk management and emergency response. 3.Establish and continuously update the EHS management system, providing training to relevant personnel, tracking implementation, ensuring proper documentation, and analyzing monitoring effectiveness. 4.Oversee EHS management, review, and acceptance processes for company facilities, laboratories, and construction projects (including vendor projects). 5.Liaise with government authorities, coordinating third-party inspections and audits, addressing findings, and managing applications for EHS-related permits such as routine (JSRA) and non-routine (DRA and work permits). 6.Ensure compliance with regulations during the procurement of chemicals, medical supplies, and other consumables, managing risks associated with safe production. 7.Manage compliance for waste disposal (hazardous, medical, and regular waste), including vendor selection, daily operations review, and regulatory adherence for waste, wastewater, and emissions. 8.Handle the management of EHS-related signage throughout the facility. 9.Develop, organize, and enhance the company’s fire safety management system, security management system, emergency response plans, and fire drills. 10.Participate in EHS incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements: 805-8 years of EHS experience, ideally within the healthcare industry, preferably with reagents or IVD-related exposure. 80Strong understanding of China’s EHS regulations and compliance standards. 80Workable proficiency in spoken English. 80Experience with setting up EHS management systems for laboratories and manufacturing facilities.
