1. Support the development and manage the implementation of the HSE business plan for the account, in line with the strategic HSE plan for CBRE. This includes horizon scanning, planning and forecasting for both policy changes and resource requirements. 2. Liaise with respective regional and country leaders to ensure expectations are understood and delivered as far as is reasonable to maintain satisfactory management of potential risk exposures. 3. Support the Global HSE and regional / in-country Operations leads in managing and mitigating operational risks and / or any related HSE issues. 4. Act as Subject Matter Expert and provide guidance and practical expertise on HSE topics to in-country and regional leads ensuring there is appropriate day-to-day support and guidance to both internal and external customers. 5. Ensure compliance with all business-wide policy and strategy through regular management system audits. Develop an account wide audit regime to devolve routine audits and actions to in-country resources, utilising technology wherever possible / practical 6. Develop and implement best practice initiatives and activities across all areas of HSE management, compliance, governance and oversight. 7. Lead the routine collection and review of all near misses, incidents, accidents and issues and ensure appropriate remedial actions are implemented to prevent recurrences and drive up HSE standards 8. Lead the development and maintenance of the account specific training strategy & plan to support the service delivery requirements in each region / country within APAC. Support its delivery to enable appropriate standards of HSE competence are achieved and maintained. 9. Be the figurehead for all HSE related matters across the region, driving up standards and competence across the various teams 10. Assist with the establishment, mentoring, development and coaching of HSE Risk Champions. 11. Maintain relationships with industry peers in both client and supplier organisations and develop a culture of sharing best practice and innovation through collaborative working. 12. Ensure the achievement of agreed functional standards and service level agreements. 13. Compile appropriate performance reports and maintain performance monitoring, analysis and review against established metrics and standards to drive improvements. 14. Support the achievement of good industry practice, business competitiveness, and the development of a learning organisation. 15. Support effective business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management and team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and other publications, as appropriate. 16. Support the health, safety and environmental aspects of the account growth strategy through solutions development, participation in presentations and consultation meetings, bid and contract generation and review through to support during mobilisation and resourcing activities within new territories. Develop routine and focused safety messages for local team meetings, newsletters, IM Communications, etc. Experience [Essential] Practical experience must include: 84 Knowledge of Risk Assessment in a practical environment. 84 Providing education, guidance & advice to assist operational teams. 84 Monitoring & analysis through inspections, audits, engagement and oversight. 84 Awareness of the International Standards in , Health and Safety and the Environment. 84 Positively championing HSE through suitable presentation media. 84 Accident/Hazard & well-being investigation and analysis to establish improvements and drive objectives. 84 Assisting and/or delivering training of selected HSE topics [Desirable] Appreciation of working within a multiple site/international environment. Incumbents must have a high level of energy, be self-starters, confident & stable in manner, and be able to prioritise and work on a range of activities within a high-pressure environment. Circumstances Incumbents will be required to travel across the region (domestic & internationally) to support new & existing business. This will necessitate occasional overnight stays within set budget constraints. Education [Essential] A good general education. Formal management qualifications in health & safety management. Practical application of auditing. Formal qualification in environmental management and/or Graduate membership of IOSH or equivalent. [Desirable] Formal qualifications in auditing.
