Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will support the implementation, maintenance and compliance
of procurement approved practice approved activities to support the businesses.
Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures.
You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in
training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional
development. This role is contributing to the Hoisting Business Line of Process
Automation Process Industries Division globally.


You will be mainly accountable for:

Designs and implements plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets
and supports global sourcing initiatives as required.
Applies and implements procurement standards, tools, and processes in your
area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.
Drives contractual topics with suppliers as well cost reduction
initiatives locally.
Creates and updates reports as required, following ABB standards and
implements new direction within the area of responsibility.
Applies standards on health and safety, environment and business ethics
within operational work, contract management and negotiation activities.
Executes effective and transparent communication internally, externally and
between different units and centers.

Qualifications for the role

Degree in a relevant course or demonstrated track record in a similar role.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in supply chain with at least 2
years in a Procurement function
You are skilled in procurement related tools and processes.
Have established skills in contract management, supplier engagement and
negotiations.
Effective communications and collaborations skills
