Job Function and Scope: The Senior Quality Engineer (quality assurance) is responsible for implementing the Parker Aerospace China quality policy and strategy, providing quality onsite support to China programs (COMAC ARJ21, C919, XAC MA700), and two Parker-AVIC Joint Ventures, supporting Parker aerospace divisions supply chain development in China and Asia. Job Responsibilities: 61 Responsible for the onsite quality support to Parker China programs (COMAC ARJ21, C919, XAC MA700), maintaining local communication with customer - COMAC, XAC, and business partner AVIC etc., working as US quality interface for resource divisions including Fuel and inerting system, flight control system, and hydraulic system, flowing down group or division quality requirement to China products, ensure all required regulatory and industrial requirements are met. 61 Dispositioning and support of COMAC SCAN/QDN on time closure, implementation of division assigned any customer on site solution including product rework, RCCA, and etc. 61 Supporting two Parker-AVIC joint ventures product development process, including machining parts, assembly and test, special process, AS9100 QMS certification, FAI validation, PPAP etc. working on JV operational quality performance RPPM, FPY continuous improvement. 61 Communicate with Parker divisions to ensure Parker quality standards and specifications are properly delivered to China supply chain, including PPAP, supplier QMS audit, FAI validation, source inspection and etc., follow up the audit corrective and preventative actions; assist supplier to perform root cause analysis, and follow up quality investigations. 61 Implementing Parker group Zero defect program strategy for the ongoing use of quality tools and techniques in support of continuous process and product improvement in China, including providing training and individual project support as appropriate. 61 Review changes in industry standards and regulatory requirements, and prepare any required update to company QMS documentation and procedures. 61 Administering an archiving facility for all necessary quality records. Qualifications: 61 Engineering or technology institute or above, majored in engineering is a plus; 61 Minimum 5-year working experience in aerospace or aviation design, manufacturing, or production organization, more than 2-year experience in quality function is preferred; 61 Understanding of AS9100D standard and other regulatory requirements. Experienced in quality system audit and inspection technology. 61 Understanding of commercial aircraft flight control, fuel system, hydraulic system, engine system is preferred. 61 Experience in supplier quality system audit, process or product audit, able to lead a quality improvement project and ensure planned result are achieved. 61 Experience in working with aircraft manufacturer, working with COMAC/XAC or AVIC is a plus. 61 Good knowledge in GD&T, and drawing readiness, experience in manufacturing process is preferred. 61 Understanding OEM assembly and test requirement, able to support quality inspection to assembly and test product. 61 Knowledge in aerospace product development process like APQP, PFMEA, MSA, Gage R&R and be proficient in use of quality statistical tools. 61 Understanding of special processes such as anodizing, passivation, heat treatment, NDT methods like Fluorescence penetrate Inspection (FPI), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and etc, under-standing of chemical process like passivation, anodize, plating, heat treatment and etc. 61 Understanding of calibration criteria and industrial standards. 61 Fluent in written and oral English; able to support technical translation in scenarios with Chinese customers, the ability to present in front of groups of people or lead groups of people. 61 Solid quality reporting skills in SPC tools, Microsoft office such as word, excel, PPT, project and etc. 61 Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work with customers. 61 Open minded, proactive attitude, willing to learn and capable for business trip or work mobile, team player.
