General Ledger (GL) & Travel Expenses (T&E) - Team Leader (GCN) – Region East Europe & APAC
Position Context
- Global Capabilities Network (GCN) is a multinational and multicultural organization which offers services to all Chiesi Group business units. One of our goal is to provide scalable, sustainable, and streamlined service delivery in the referring area for General Ledger and T&E processes. - Position plays an active role in the transition processes of identified General Ledger and for Travel Expenses from local business unit to GCN organization; actively contributes to the process improvement and standardization initiatives. He/she directly manages people, ensuring their professional growth and upskilling, so to make them able to work for different companies.

Position Purpose
Within the GCN, Team Leader is managing an international multi-cultural team. He/she is responsible for the delivery and execution of GL and T&E services for the assigned area.
He/she: - ensures the process is aligned with the global one - guarantees all the deadlines are met, realizing outcome with high level quality - facilitates and manages communication and issue resolution between external and internal customers - acts in continuous contact with local finance organization for the processes in scope related matters - performs activities engaged in establishing and enhancing the satisfaction of internal and external customers and stakeholders - immediately submits to the Global Process Owner any deviation - directly manages people and knows in deep GL and T&E processes - devotes a % of his/her time to support the operations related to the processes in scope, acting directly in the systems (SAP, Board, Concur, BPC, …)
Key Tasks and Responsibilities He/she - Leads GL/T&E team for month and year end closure, ensuring that GL accounting for processes in scope is well maintained and closed out in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner - Is responsible for monthly GL closing activities - Is responsible for periodic T&E audit, postings and payments - Actively participates in internal and external audit to provide required information - Maintains a constant relation with internal and local stakeholders, leveraging on their input in releasing outcomes - Lead GL/T&E team in continuous policy improvement and procedures streamline - Fulfills other tasks and contributes to projects assigned by Line Manager
Qualifications - Economic background (either academic or high-school diploma) - Familiar with accounting principles (local and IFRS) - Solid knowledge of accounting and tax fundamentals - In-depth knowledge of end-to-end processes - Fast and accurate data entry skills - Previous experience in managing teams - Intermediate English and Chinese is a must - Appreciated any other languages - SAP skilled – must - Concur skilled – nice to have - Board and BPC skilled – nice to have - Strong IT skills: Proficient in MS Office, excel and PowerPoint in particular - Previous experience in international environments is a plus
