Develop and implement an overarching indirect procurement strategy aligned with the organization's strategic objectives and financial goals. Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements across indirect categories such as professional services, IT hardware/software, marketing, travel, office supplies, and facilities management.
Supplier Management
Build and maintain a robust supplier base by conducting thorough supplier evaluations, negotiating contracts, and fostering long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. Develop and implement supplier performance management programs to ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
Procurement Process Optimization
Review and streamline procurement processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize costs. Leverage technology solutions, such as procurement software and e-sourcing tools, to enhance visibility, automate tasks, and enable data-driven decision-making.
Financial Management
Manage procurement budgets and forecast spend across indirect categories. Develop and present regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and risk exposure to senior management.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks associated with supplier relationships, contract management, and procurement processes.
ESG
Develop and implement regional ESG strategies and targets, aligned with global ESG goals and local regulations. Oversee the execution of ESG programs and initiatives within the region, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Prepare regular ESG reports for the region, highlighting progress, challenges, and future plans. Communicate ESG achievements and strategies to internal and external stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and the public.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing indirect procurement.
Proven track record of driving significant cost savings and process improvements through strategic sourcing and supplier management.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
Familiarity with procurement software and e-sourcing tools.
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices.
