ABOUT THE JOB The role of this position will support the line manager and work closely with the Marketing and whole Commercial team to provide actionable insights based on facts and analysis. This person should have the ability to manage large-scale consumer studies (U&A study, BHT, etc.), plus have exposure to various market measurement systems, i.e. Retail Audit and Home Panel.
WHAT YOU WILL DO 1. Support line manager to build up holistic consumer/shopper insights through working closely with Marketing, Trade Marketing, and 3rd party consumer/shopper research agencies, including but not limited to: (40%) 61 Support line manager to define the consumer and marketing insight agenda and manage its execution (Qualitative and Quantitative projects) to support business decisions. 61 Work with agencies to identify and design the right and actionable research approach to answer key business questions 61 Drive innovation measurement by bringing consumer insights and understanding to the innovation development process, validating consumer’s propositions of NPD, and tracking its performance in the market 61 Conduct the Brand Health Tracking Study by co-working with agencies and support to evaluate the marketing campaign/activity effectiveness both on brand lift and sales improvement. 61 Ability to conduct shopper studies such as Shoppers’ profile identification & segmentation, Shopper Decision Tree, Shopper’s trip mission/pre-trip planning, shopper path, and shopper trends.
2. Support manager in managing the consumer U&A study: (20%) 61 Work with suppliers to ensure the smoothness of the project. 61 Support manager on the analysis plan of U&A to ensure the reports are relevant to the business needs. 61 Support manager to ensure the report & Insight from the U&A project are well-download to the commercial team 61 Support manager to ensure the workshop is well delivered.
3. Support on business planning and Provide valuable business support both inside and outside the team: (20%) 61 Support business review, deep-dive business analysis, and provide insightful business suggestions to accelerate the business. 61 Support LM in strategic meetings such as Country Plan, Budget Meeting, LRP, etc; Help to conduct category forecast and market share projection, etc.
4. Support line manager to do the internal and external communication to ensure the research quality and working relationship: (20%) 61 Daily communication with the brand team on their research brief to dig out the business questions and work out the right research approach 61 Manage external agency prospection, qualification, and working relationships to develop a reliable, high quality and value-adding network of external partners 61 Good presentation skills to debrief the research/analysis result to the key stakeholders 61 Connecting with the global CMI team to share some local research projects as well as conduct some of the global projects. 职位要求: OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE 61 Bachelor degree and above 61 At least 3-4 years of working experiences in shopper insight / shopper marketing 61 Experiences in FMCG industry / Marketing Research / Trade Marketing / Consulting is preferred 61 Good knowledge of Qualitative and Quantitative Research 61 Excellent data process and analysis skill 61 Ability to translate data and business intelligence into action to support the achievement of short-term results 61 Good English in listening/speaking and communication skills 61 Excellent at Excel/PPT and other data analysis tools 61 A team player with superior initiative 61 Patient, careful, and rational mindset
