Job Summary: Acts as the chemical applications sales engineer. Be responsible to identify growth opportunity in pharmaceutical and specialty chemical segment in which industrial gas will be applied, and provide customized application solution based on customer’s process. Need to work closely with the regional sales team and help to win business by leveraging application technology.
Key Responsibilities: - Understand industry trends based on good knowledge of technology and market intelligence. - Interpret market trends and provide guidance of gas opportunity to sales team from market perspective. - Provide value-added application solutions to address customers’ needs in key market areas such as pharmaceutical, chemical and environmental. - Work closely with regional sales team to pursue quality business growth by integrating application technology into gas supply offering. Finalize the design of process and equipment. Install and conduct the startup at the customer locations
Key Capabilities - Bachelor in chemical/mechanical/cryogenic engineering and similar fields. Master is a plus. - At least 5 years of industrial experience. Technical selling skills & experience is a must - Market understanding and background/experience of pharma & specialty chemical process - Demonstrated expertise heat transfer including cryogenic process. - Must be innovative, strong problem solver, and work well with customers as well as internal market and business development staff. - Must be able to provide technical sales support and process start up assistance. Should have demonstrated hands-on field experience. - Strong written and spoken communication in English is a plus
