The category manager,will be accountable for: Covering & Foam Category manager, this position will be responsible for maximizing procurement efficiency and effectiveness in meeting the demands of a rapidly growing production/manufacturing operation with the subcategory buyer team Job Responsibilities 1. Leading the budget preparation of responsible category, such as: annual operation plan (AOP), Long-term Purchasing Plan (LTP) etc. 2. Achieve the monthly bill of material saving task and tracking linked action progress. 3. Continuously Identify the potential negotiation actions, synergy supplier base. Keep improving category purchasing cost and valuable supplier linked actions for achieving business target. 4. Cooperate with Project Purchasing team. Identify supplier bid list, tracking new business status and maximum benefit from new nomination. 5. Support whole Group & cross functional VAVE actions with suppliers. 6. Establish Market Raw material data base, protect group material cost level attractively. 7. Set up category strategy, make sure supplier base health and suitable for group business, same time provide the best cost level. 8. Maintain the category supplier list with quarterly update. 9. Make the 5 years Long-term purchasing plan which support Company mid & long-term target. 10. Leading the Strategy Supplier Evaluation & Audit regularly. 11. Push supplier early involve and support company business with enough technical support. 12. Supplier frame contract management 13. Maintain the main supplier relationship and establish the partner for company 14. Supplier KPI management. 15. Supplier risk management, identify the risk proactively prevent business stop. 16. Keep tracking and make sure the supplier capacity can fulfill company business development requirement. 17. Supervision and administration team follow and respect company police and regulation. 18. Keep optimize the procedure and working method, improve team efficiency. 19. Archiving documents and contract according to company requirement. 20. 全面支持内部和外部审计。及时修复审计发现。 Fully support internal & external audit, close the correction actions if any finding happened. 21. Developing the professional category products knowledge. 22. Make sure the team members have same target, vision & values as the company’s. 23. Improve internal & External customer communication & cooperation efficiency. 24. Keep improving the team working efficiency same time keep high labor satisfaction. 25. Leading team with training the qualified successor 26. Other tasks assigned by the superior. 岗位技能要求: - Bachelor’s degree or above, engineering, technical or economic majors is preferred; - Minimum 8 years experience in purchasing related category seating or interior industry is preferred, covering & foam materials experience is plus. - Minimum 2 years team management experience - Excellent communication, coordination, and information integration skills; - Good written and oral communication skills in English - Good office software skill (excel, ppt) - Good team cooperation and organization skill
