ABOUT This Position:
Title: Branch Manager, Shanghai
Job Purpose: - Drive sales through business development and customer satisfaction while motivate the teams via strong leadership and diversified approaches.
Scope 1: Business & Financial Performance - Implement business strategies to achieve the cascading targets aligned with upper management. - Develop sales plans to expand the unit’s customer base and acquire bigger market share. - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, vendors and other stakeholders to gain bargaining power. - Innovate new business lines in coordination with HQ ensuring diversity in portfolio and business activities. - Facilitate to pricing team in getting competitive prices by leveraging relationships with carriers and agents. - Responsible for financial targets achievement, plan, track and monitor both business and financial performance in regular basis.
Scope 2: Branch Operations Management - Oversee the day-to-day operations including sales, customer service, and freight management, etc. - Ensure compliance and code of conduct with relevant internal/external regulations. - Maintain and optimize SOPs per client in coordination with quality assurance & other internal departments. - Follow closely on operations and customer service standards from lead generation to post-sale follows.
Scope 3: People Development - Implement people engagement projects to elevate employee morale, encourage open discussion, empower innovation and create the psychological safety workplace. - Train, coach and metor team members by diversified approaches and methodologies, facilitate to build the continuous learning organization. - Work closely with China HR on employee life-cycle management to improve employee experience while reduce potential legal risk.
Qualifications: - Integrity, Integrity,Integrity. - Strong influence & leadership: Lead by example. - Demonstrate strong sense of responsibilities, eager to success & achievements. - Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities, Solid analytical and critical thinking, target & result driven, good negotiation and communication skills. - Over 15 years experience working in the freight forwarding industry with the last five years at least within the sales function. - Excellent command of English is a must, any other language is a plus. - BA in Business, preferably with focus on sales and marketing, MBA is a plus. - Excellent knowledge of MS. Office
