Financial Accounting and Reporting: o Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS. o Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately in the accounting system. o Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. o Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and prepare necessary documentation. PRC and Hong Kong Tax Planning and Management o Oversee corporate tax compliance, including income tax, VAT, and other statutory taxes. o Plan and implement tax strategies to optimize tax efficiency while ensuring full compliance. o Ensure accurate calculation, reporting, and timely filing of tax returns. o Monitor and manage the availability of VAT invoices (fapiao) to meet business and operational requirements. Working Capital Management o Oversee the cash flow management processes to ensure sufficient liquidity for country operations. This includes forecasting cash requirements and optimizing cash balances. o Ensure effective accounts receivables processes are in place to reduce days sales outstanding (DSO) and minimize bad debts. Review and analyse aging reports monthly. o Oversees accounts payable processes to optimize payment terms and manage days payable outstanding (DPO) effectively. o Monitor unbilled WIP and Job Cost accruals process and ensure job financials are updated timely and accurately. Internal Controls and Compliance: o Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets. o Conduct regular reviews of internal controls to ensure effectiveness and compliance. o Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards. Team Leadership and Development: o Lead and mentor the financial accounting team, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development. o Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. o Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs for team members. Operational Analysis and Support: o Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, budget tracking, and forecasting. o Provide insights and recommendations to management for cost control, process optimization, and operational improvements. o Partner with business units to analyze performance, improve margins, and drive profitability. Process Improvement: o Continuously review and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. o Implement best practices in financial accounting and control. o Leverage technology to automate and streamline financial processes.
Requirement: 61 Qualified Accountant with minimum of 10 years of relevant analytical experience. 61 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent. 61 Experiences in logistics industry has an advantage. 61 Familiar with Cargowise system has an advantage. 61 Excellent excel skills and strong quantitative abilities. 61 Good power point skills. 61 Able to solve complex problems. 61 Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships. 61 Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
