Key Responsibilities:
61 Develops and implements transportation plans.
61 Partners with internal/external stakeholders, builds relationships to support supply chain end to end objectives. Builds relationship with operational leaders to provide superior service; responds to feedback to create solutions to unique market requirements.
61 Develop, implement, and lead on-boarding of new vendors, management procedures, processes, and standards.
61 Manage shipment exceptions, shipment prioritization and expedited shipments.
61 Leverage systems and technology to manage transportation network. Identify and execute opportunities to improve processes, service and reduce freight spend.
61 Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high level of quality, accuracy and process consistency in the planning effort.
61 Support transportation related new functionalities and/or new systems implementations.
61 Partner with Transport planning team in other regions to ensure On Time Performance of cross regions shipments. Lead projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
61 Bachelor’s degree in supply chain related field
61 Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Logistic – Transportation role.
61 Knowledge of transportation operations and freight tendering / tracking processes.
61 Knowledge of various modes within the Transportation Industry
61 TMS knowledge and possess TMS Operational Planning experience
61 Experience with Transportation Planning and Optimisation
61 Data analytics skills.
61 Hands-on mentality
