Responsibilities Understand customer requirements, participate in system design, and finalize detailed electrical design requirements by collaborating with the system team and global engineering team. Design schematics of electric circuit boards that meet design specifications. Analyze and simulate circuit performance; build design documents (HDD, FMEA, etc.). Develop verification plans that align with key performance and reliability standards. Verify design performance to meet requirements, ensuring design for manufacturability, serviceability, and achieving cost/reliability targets. Collaborate with mechanical engineering to develop product enclosures and meet regulatory, safety, environmental, reliability, thermal, and interface standards. Work with the firmware engineering team to develop hardware/firmware that meet functional requirements. Collaborate with the sourcing team and suppliers to develop manufacturing test specifications and procedures for ICT and FCT of PCBA, ensuring design for manufacturing. Partner with the factory team to ensure flawless design transfer, ensuring the product is successfully implemented into production on schedule and on quality.
