Job Responsibilities : -Category strategy implementation in close collaboration with the Category Leads, Sourcing Engineer and key stakeholders -Coordinate and collaborate in multi-unit, cross-functional global projects (example SternDrive transfer projects & NPDI projects) and support both regional and global implementation. -Lead and manage competitive bids, contract negotiations, and contracting for the field of responsibility (yearly negotiation, LTB contracts, NPDI quotation and contracts) -Continuously improve the quality of supply chain by monitoring and proactive influencing -Achieve KPIs in the field of responsibility (MPI, delivery, lead time, lines over portal) -Identify and implement savings opportunities by transferring and applying best practices -Lead the commercial relationship, business review meetings, supply agreements, KPI achievement, audits, supplier visits and risk mitigation activities for managed suppliers defined in the category strategies -Approver for the new supplier introduction by aligning with the Category Leads and category strategy. -Implement standardized sourcing processes across the regions
Required Key Skills & Competencies -Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field -Strong negotiator with proven project management skills in an international environment -Ability to deal with complex initiatives and to lead through persuasion with all levels and cultures -Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Depending on region – German and Chinese a plus) -Open-minded and engaged personality -Independent working method and proactive communication skills -Solid financial acumen and strong analytical skills -Proficient user of MS Office and IT savvy in general -Flexible with travelling (approx. 10-20%)

Required Experience -Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Key Account Management or related field in a global matrix driven organization with familiarity in end-to-end processes -Experience in negotiation, contracting, or procurement and/or dealing with Marketing/Communications stakeholders and suppliers would be considered an advantage -Proven background in RFQ procedures.
