Main tasks and responsibilities: Leading the sales team of the area to achieve the sales yearly target of the whole area allocated by GM. 1. Planning for team target: Lead the sales team to make the budget planning to ensure the individual targets of sales reps can make up the total allocated target. 2. Sales team activity management Have daily/weekly/monthly communication with sales reps Make joint visits with sales reps to support or coach sales reps to win business (Project/OEM/MRO) Direct sales reps to have the suitable strategy for different market segments. Support and manage sales reps for quotations/negotiations/orders in order to improve the winning percentage and profitability. Get reports from sales reps and make reports to GM. 3. Key customer relationship management Develop and maintain close relationship with key customers in the responsible sales area and strategically grow the sales to these customers. 4. Sales channel management Maintain/develop sales channels as defined according to Set target for distribution partners and support them to meet the target. 5. Sales team building and management Make suggestion of new recruitment/replacement/dismissal and keep the team ability growth; Train/coach/support sales reps to be successful on performance and self-improvement. 6. Control of sales expenses and cost Monitor and control sales expenses to ensure individual sales rep sales expense is following company policy and regulations. 7. Communication as a bridge between GM and sales reps Transfer company information/request/policy/directions to the team; Listen to sales team and feedback to GM if necessary. 8. Marketing feedback and coordination of marketing promotion Feedback to company the needed market information; Coordinate within the team to make better marketing promotion according to company marketing plan. 9. Other tasks assigned by Line Manager Qualification requirements: 1. Five plus years valve business sales background and preferred in senior sales position. 2. Experienced sales ability on project business and OEM business, sales channel management. 3. Strong planning ability. 4. Good team player and supportive 5. Strong organisational skills 6. Global (big picture) thinking. 7. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related industrial majors 8. Working experience in foreign company preferred in European brands. 9. Good English skills in speaking, reading and writing 10. Intelligent and good emotional quotient, with good understanding level during communication with people 11. Self-motivated and result orientated 12. One who has empathy- understanding of others 13. Good leadership and team spirit, ready to help others to be successful 14. with good communication skills, good listener to others, good question asker 15. Clear minded, logical and strategic thinking 16. Working style in both directions- attention to details and macro view.
