We are seeking highly motivated, collaborative, forward-thinking talent with an enthusiasm for networking internally and drive partnership with suppliers. The position will report to the Semiconductor Global Category Director. Within an international team of regional category manager (RCM), you will be responsible for market strategy on semiconductors.
Responsibilities :
Align Semiconductor Strategy deployment in the Business. ü Perform needs analysis for different Schneider entities LOB in Europe and segment the commodity needs, to share it with the Global Category Manager GCM ü Perform in the geographic zone market analysis / intelligence and identification of market trends that could affect the pricing and supply ü Contribute to the development and deployment of the global cost models, scoring models, price indexes etc Coordinate & collaborate - Deploy Semiconductor Strategy deployment within the Business. ü Schedule interlock with the Business Procurement every quarter ü Participate actively to the innovation phase with R&D to support Business Procurement ü Reviewing the Award with Business Procurement on key semiconductors technologies and insuring that the best practices (costing matrix, LTSA) are implemented Suppliers Relationship management ü Directly manage some up to 2 semiconductors suppliers and get involved in global negotiations with these suppliers. ü Support the others purchasers (Regional) in their negotiations (tools, arguments,...) ü Plan business reviews with suppliers & assign the task to the respective supplier leaders in the zone. ü Deploy supplier framework agreements and push the adoption in the NPI. ü Lead qualification process for any new supplier linked to category
Profile: Education: Master’s degree in Supply chain, Management or Engineering... Experience : - Minimum 5 years of working experience - Purchasing individual with an Electronic background. - Demonstrated experience in leading functionally teams, animate network, and high level of collaboration at multicultural level. Competencies: - Capacity to work in a multicultural environment with extended stakeholders & interlocutors - Strong influence & convince capability for decision alignment - Proven team player - Excellent communication skills, both orally & in writing - Ability to interact and negotiate with Key suppliers and Schneider executives on key contracts and services, - Negotiation skills in a complex and moving environment
