The job incumbent manages Open Innovation Network(University, Associations, Partner, Startup & etc). He/she manages and coordinates all the relationship and joint activities (Contract, Certificate, Standard, Conference & etc) to support development for market ready solutions.

Main Accountabilities

Network Management for Innovations

84 Development, maintain open innovation network or innovation eco system.
84 Ensure quality of partner and relationship.
84 Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster a collaborative innovation environment.
84 Support all engineering aspects of innovation projects via network including:
o Concept design and development
o Prototype development
o Testing and relevant documentation
o Risk analysis
84 Support project manager to secure milestones, resources, budget, and technical status (time, quality, cost)
84 Co-ordinate cost analysis and detailed cost calculations of joint development.
84 Support intellectual property department on patent sharing, patent assignment and other cases.
84 Documentation and execution of lessons learned – self-driven approach for continuous improvement on innovation network.


Innovation approach
84 Open innovation: networking and collaboration with customers, suppliers, universities, expert committees etc.

84 Joint activities are executed on time and in budget and specified targets are met

84 Network documentation is complete and up to date
84 Patent research, patent analysis, patent assignment and FTO are completed on time

84 Internal: BU R&D/engineering, corporate strategy, product experts, purchasing, finance, legal
84 External: customers, suppliers, universities, research institutes and etc

Job Requirements (Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Competencies)
84 University degree or equivalent education in the field of Mechanical or Process Engineering (or similar degree covering relevant aspects of Technical Innovation and/or Innovation Management)
84 Technological and Business Innovation competence and system understanding in filtration and separation systems. Experience in one of more of the following fields:
- Filtration and filtration systems for on and off-highway mobile applications
- Industrial filtration (e.g. mechanical engineering, machinery)
- HVAC / air purification

84 Openness and good communication skills, along with the ability to work in flexible team structures
84 Ability to network, and be well connected within all levels of hierarchy – also internationally / across cultures
84 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience. Experience in managing networks of stakeholders and fostering partnerships is preferred.
84 Fluency in technical English (written and spoken)
