Your Role 1. You will be assigned to implement projects in Singapore. 2. Working at client premises as implant to support the logistics and shipping functions 3. Shipment forecast and planning based on materials expediting report 4. Coordinate with client’s suppliers on cargo collection and source for suitable sailing for the shipment 5. Follow up with overseas offices for freight rates, booking and shipment status 6. To source for freight rates from carriers and handle the bookings with carriers 7. Activation of shipments and preparation of relevant shipping documents and assigning of UDR 8. Preparation of import and export permits for customs declarations 9. Monitor shipment status on daily basis and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders 10. Attend client’s shipment status meeting and provide updates 11. Preparation of quotation and invoices in a timely manner to bill to client 12. Coordinate with local and overseas office for tender preparations and submissions 13. Preparation of internal project costs and P&L per shipment and monthly report 14. Traveling both locally and overseas may be required
Your Background 1. At least 2 to 3 years of experience in international freight forwarding 2. Direct experience of working in Oil & Gas. Experiences with FPSO freight forwarding projects preferred 3. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and perform effectively under time pressure 4. Ability to deal with stress and flexibility to work after office hours 5. Ability to represent the company and to build strong stakeholder relationships 6. Good communication skills in English and Chinese 7. Great team player 8. Good IT skills in Office365 9. Physically capable of national / international travel
