Objectives of the role/job: Be the ESG Project Manager and serve as the contact person for members in focused industries. Manage and drive various initiatives and events to develop the ESG project, engage more members, and improve member satisfaction.
Individual tasks/responsibility: ESG Project Management: 61Develop and execute ESG projects in line with the Chamber's strategic goals and industry requirements, such as ESG Alliance etc. 61Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress and delivery. 61Be responsible for project timelines, budgets, and resources to maintain project efficiency and effectiveness. 61Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing members in specified industries. 61Organize and facilitate industry-specific events, workshops, and seminars to enhance member participation and knowledge sharing. 61Identify potential new members and develop strategies to attract them to join the Chamber's ESG initiatives. Project Development: 61Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging ESG trends and opportunities in the target industries. 61Collaborate with industry experts and partners to design and propose new ESG projects that address industry challenges and contribute to sustainable development. 61Prepare project proposals and business plans, including budget forecasts and resource allocation plans. Project Quality and Solution Delivery Assurance: 61Establish and implement quality control processes and standards for ESG projects. 61Conduct regular project reviews and evaluations to assess project performance and identify areas for improvement. 61Guarantee a smooth and qualified solution delivery to achieve the defined targets
Shared tasks/responsibility: 61Most important aims are to position the German Chamber in the Chinese and German market as an important partner for foreign companies in China, to develop business and take care of and retain existing members as well as to increase the number of new members and to promote the Chamber image. 61Build and maintain close coordination with other internal departments of the German Chamber network (AHK) and (potential) external partners to find synergies and cooperation opportunities. This requires diplomatic sensitivity when handling members, partners and when interacting with official departments. 61Support for reporting to Chamber management and Board of Directors. 61Constantly improve processes and services for the members of the Chamber. 61Act as member engagement leader and drive projects for members in focused industry.Support other German Chamber projects and the team as needed.
Responsibilities: 61Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 61Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably with a focus on ESG or sustainability initiatives. 61Industry understanding and quick adoption in industry knowledge, experience with profound knowledge. 61Fluent in Chinese and English. German is a plus. 61Good at industry analysis and understand industry trends, so as to understand customer needs 61Strong organizational and project management skills to handle complex projects and several projects simultaneously. 61Responsible and reliable, with the ability to work independently to achieve individual tasks. 61Strong team working spirit to cooperate with the project management team to meet deadlines and targets. 61Flexible, self-motivated, and reliable, with problem-solving ability, a strong sense of responsibility. 61Very good communication and social skills, such as diplomatic sensitiveness, intercultural and social competency. 61Ability to speak and present in front of large groups with high confidence 61Ability to develop ideas and suggestions for improvements of the work of the German Chamber. 61Flexibility and willingness to work outside regular working hours at events.
